Community Immersions

Check out when and where we will be together!

AMS 2024

🤔What are Community Immersions?

Our Community Immersions are an opportunity for our global Community of changemakers to come together both virtually and in person to connect, network and learn together around a specific theme aligned to our ToU mission.

Our virtual Immersions are when our global community come together online. Think expert events, alumni panels and challenges designed to get us connecting and thinking deeply.

Our in person Immersions are where we come together in real life. They are where purpose meets practice and where ideas turn into action, always with the purpose of making a positive lasting impact, on each other, our mission, and the city hosting us.

Each Immersion is aligned to a Community Pathway. This allows our community to really hone in and focus on the topics important to you and your mission.

Community Immersions are designed to help you grow, experiment, and connect - and we can’t wait to see what you’ll create next.

📍Why these locations and times?

Our Immersions are shaped by your feedback and our mission to make meaningful experiences more accessible.

Our in person locations are carefully chosen for their community, creativity and strong sustainability values. We've planned them to be as train friendly and travel-light as possible for the majority of our Community, and we encourage everyone to choose sustainable travel options whenever possible.

All Immersions aligns with new learner intakes, creating regular shared moments throughout the year to connect, learn and grow together.

⏱️When shall I book my in person Immersion trip?

As soon as you receive the Immersion dates and city, we recommend booking your accommodation and travel.

Immersion cities tend to fill up quickly, especially central areas. We always aim to choose venues that are well-connected and located in central neighbourhoods with good public transport, so staying nearby makes everything much easier.

Booking early usually means better prices, more options, and less last-minute stress.

👥Who can attend an in person Immersion?

Immersions are open to all Tomorrow University degree learners and alumni, whether it’s your very first or fifth time joining.

We also welcome a limited number of prospective learners - people who are genuinely exploring Tomorrow University and want to experience our community first-hand. If you know someone from your network who’s considering joining, let us know! We’ll do our best to facilitate their visit so they can see what it’s like to learn and grow with us.

💸How much does it cost to participate?

From 1 August 2026, our Immersions carry a small sustainability fee. We want to be open about why.

No-show rates at in-person events are a real problem, not just for logistics, but for waste. We cater, staff and plan for the number of people who register, and when people don't show up, that's food and resources gone. The fee gives everyone a small stake in turning up.

Current learners pay a discounted contribution of €15. We'll share your discount code separately ahead of each Immersion.

Alumni and prospective learners pay €30. If you're an Alumni attending in an active role, delivering a workshop, sitting on a panel, or similar, the fee is waived. If you're not sure whether your role qualifies, reach out to us and we'll confirm.

Where your contribution goes depends on what happens:

  • If you attend, it goes towards the cost of participating in a ToU signature moment, something positive in the host city
  • If you can't make it, it moves into our Immersion Access Fund, helping a fellow learner cover travel or accommodation costs to be in the room.

😕What if I can't attend an in person Immersion?

Community Immersions are optional events that complement your broader learning journey. They’re a chance to connect with peers, hear from experts and explore each theme in depth - both online and in person.

If you’ve signed up but can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible - even at the last minute. That simple message helps us offer your spot to another learner who’s eager to take part and ensures our planning stays sustainable.

We understand that travel and accommodation are self-paid, and for some that can be a barrier. We’re actively exploring new partnerships and funding options to help reduce these costs and make future Immersions more accessible. For 2026 Immersions, we have a small Immersion Access Fund available,

Beyond the in-person gatherings, we’ll continue building our Action Hubs and expanding our Virtual Immersions and Community Offerings - creating more ways for our global community to connect, learn and make an impact together.

Because no matter where you join from - online or in person - your participation shapes the Tomorrow University community.

⏰What if I can't attend all of the in person Immersion?

For our in person Immersions, you can choose how to participate;

  • Single day attendance: Join for key sessions, networking or specific workshops

  • Full Immersion: Attend the complete in-person programme for a deeper, more immersive connection

We only ask that when you register, you let us know for which days you are planning to attend, so we can be ready for you!

✅How do I find out more and sign up?

You can register for our 2026 in person Immersions through the links below. We use Luma as our event management tool, to make it easy for you to see who else is coming, and to communicate the programme and updates. To support us with planning and minimise material and food waste, each in person Immersion has a strict registration deadline.

2027 Immersion and Graduation registration details will be shared by end of September 2026.

We can't wait to see at an Immersion soon!
