Community Immersion Sustainability Policy
Information on the Sustainability Fee & Refund Policy
Why we've introduced a sustainability fee
Our Immersions have always been about community, not commerce, so a fee wasn't a decision we took lightly.
For every Immersion, we cater, staff and plan around who registers. When people register and don't show up, that food, space and effort goes to waste. We've brought no-shows down from around 40% to 20%, and the sustainability fee is the next step - a small, meaningful commitment that helps everyone show up for what they signed up for, and turns the fee itself into something good.
What it costs
From 1 August 2026, our Immersions carry a small sustainability fee.
Current ToU learners pay a discounted contribution of €15. Use the following codes at checkout;

Where your contribution goes
If you attend, it goes toward the cost of participating in a ToU signature moment — something positive in the host city. If you can't make it, it moves into our Immersion Access Fund, helping a fellow learner cover travel or accommodation costs to be in the room.
Either way, your contribution does something useful.
Our refund policy
Because every fee is committed to the Access Fund or a community moment, once you register tickets are non-refundable. That shared commitment is what keeps our numbers honest and our resources from going to waste. If your plans change, your contribution simply does its good elsewhere, supporting a fellow learner to be in the room instead. If something exceptional comes up, just reach out to us via the Support chat in the platform.
