Everything you need to know to be on track to attend an upcoming Graduation ceremony

Planning to graduate soon? Whether you’re aiming to cross the stage virtually in October or in person in Berlin this December, here’s everything you need to know to be ceremony-ready.

⚠️ Important: The deadlines below are specifically for ceremony participation. They may be different from the academic deadlines shared by your Program Director. Following these ensures you're included in the celebration.

If you're planning to attend your graduation ceremony in Berlin, here are the deadlines to keep in mind:

Task Deadline
✅ Complete all outstanding challenges 12 October
📝 Submit your thesis 12 October
🎙️ Complete your thesis defence 24 October
👗 Confirm attendance, gown size & guest numbers 7 November
🧑‍🏫 Assessment Commission meets 10 November
🧾 Final grade awarded 14 November
⚖️ Appeal deadline 28 November
💳 Complete any outstanding payments 30 November
🎉 Graduation Ceremony (In Berlin) 6 December

🙋 Can’t Attend?

No worries — attendance is optional. You’ll still receive your official diploma digitally along with everyone else. Find our Graduation & Degree Documentation Guidelines here
