BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship Program's Orientation, Calibration, Elevation and Activation Phases
The BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to leverage entrepreneurial and managerial thinking for a sustainable future. The program is structured into four distinct phases: Orientation, Calibration, Elevation, and Activation. Each phase guides learners through different stages of their academic and professional journey, from foundational skills to real-world applications.
Phase 1: Orientation
Purpose: Establishing a strong foundation in Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship and Management
The Orientation Phase introduces learners to Tomorrow University's learning model, essential academic skills, and the community of peers, faculty, and industry partners. This phase consists of six challenges, each designed to prepare learners for the journey ahead.
Orientation Challenges:
- Mission Identification – Define your learning objectives and purpose
- Build Your Dream Team – Develop collaboration and teamwork skills
- Sustainability Foundations – Explore key concepts of sustainability
- Intro to Product Design – Learn how to design impactful products
- Intro to Strategy – Learn how to build strong business strategies
- Intro to Innovation & Entrepreneurship – Understand how to develop and implement innovative solutions
🆕 Program tip: If you're planning to follow the Sustainability Management program, pay special attention to Sustainability Foundations.
For Venture Creation, Product Innovation, and Business Administration, – Intro to Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Intro to Strategy are particularly relevant.
Phase 2: Calibration
Purpose: Gaining fundamental knowledge and skills in Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship and Management
At Tomorrow University, we empower learners to become responsible entrepreneurs and impact-driven business leaders. During your Calibration Phase, you will develop your expertise by completing six Impact Certificates (ICs) aligned with your chosen program.

🎯 Your Options within the BA Degree
Within your degree, the BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship, you have two options when moving into the Calibration Phase:
Whichever option you choose, you will select your Impact Certificates at the end of the Orientation Phase — and you don't have to commit to everything upfront. You can adjust your IC choices up to one week before each IC starts.
Option 1️⃣Following a Pre-Structured ProgramYou can follow a pre-structured program designed around a specific topic area, with a recommended set of elective ICs to complement your core curriculum. 📜 Your official degree title on your diploma will read: "BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship with specialization in [Name of Program]" 📝 Your transcript of records will list your completed challenges and chosen Impact Certificates. In Calibration, you complete the three recommended core ICs plus three elective ICs from your program's pre-selection. You can also replace one elective with any other IC from the BA catalogue. In Elevation and Activation, you are free to pursue topics aligned with your program area to further sharpen your profile. |
Option 2️⃣Customized Learning JourneyPick and choose your Impact Certificates freely during Calibration, combining ICs from different topic areas based on your interests and career goals. 📜 Your official degree title on your diploma will read: "BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship" 📝 Your transcript of records will list your completed challenges and chosen Impact Certificates. In Calibration, you complete six ICs of your choice — all can be taken in any order. In Elevation, you deepen your expertise through applied challenges. In Activation, you complete your final project or thesis on a topic of your choice. |

This program focuses on human-centered design, product development, and bringing innovative solutions to market responsibly.

Elevation focuses on applying your knowledge to real-world product and innovation challenges. Activation is your final project phase, where you design and launch a responsible product or solution.

This program explores how organizations can embed sustainability into strategy, operations, and decision-making for long-term impact.

Elevation focuses on applying your knowledge to real-world sustainability challenges. Activation is your final project phase, where you develop a sustainability strategy or initiative for an organization or sector.

This program builds a broad foundation in business strategy, leadership, data literacy, and organizational management.

Phase 3: Elevation
Purpose: Applying your entrepreneurial and management skills as well as your sustainability knowledge to real-world challenges
During the Elevation Phase, learners further refine their skills by working on advanced challenges and interdisciplinary projects.
Elevation Challenges:
- Starting an Impact Business with a Prototype – Required for all BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship learners
- Elective Challenge of Choice – Select a challenge that aligns with career goals and interests.
- Elective Challenge of Choice – A second opportunity to tailor learning through challenge selection.
Phase 4: Activation
Purpose: Bring Your Ideas to Life
The Activation Phase is the final stage of the program, where learners synthesize everything they've learned into a real-world project or thesis. Whether launching a responsible venture, conducting applied research, or implementing sustainable business practices, this phase ensures meaningful real-world impact.
What to Expect:
- Define and execute a Bachelor's thesis or final project under expert supervision.
- Collaborate with industry partners, mentors, and stakeholders to drive change.
- Present final work to academic and industry panels.
