🚀Your Community Leadership Pathways

There are two pathways for Community leadership and impact, depending on your personal mission and goals;

🛠 Architect Pathway

Create connection and momentum.
Architects bring the ToU community to life through events, storytelling and grassroots leadership. Whether online or in person, they make connection possible.

🦉 Wise Pathway

Support and inspire others.
Wise members mentor, guide and share expertise. From workshop hosts to leading communities of practice, they help others grow while strengthening their own leadership.

🚀 How to get involved

Every action strengthens the community, and within our Architect and Wise pathways we have lots of ways for you to get involved, as a current learner and also as Alumni. Choose a way to contribute that matches your strengths and goals, and use our handy map to help guide you

🛠 Architect Pathway

🗣 Active Community Member

Engage on Slack, support peers, ask questions and share resources.
Great for anyone ready to start making small but meaningful contributions.

📢 Referrer

Help grow the community by referring future learners.

• Each referral funds scholarships

• Get rewarded - including a free Impact Certificate
  Ideal for mission-driven learners who want to expand ToU’s reach.

🎉 Event Host

Bring the community together by organising online or local events. These could be anything from informal group coffee chats to bringing in guest speakers.
Perfect for learners who enjoy planning, hosting and connecting others.

🌍 Action Hub Lead

Lead the ToU presence in your city or region and organising in person meet ups.
Great for locally based learners ready to energise regional ecosystems for local impact.

🗳 Learner Assembly Officer (elected once per year)

Collaborate with ToU on initiatives that shape ToU’s evolution.
Ideal for those excited by leadership, change-making and co-designing experiences.

🦉 Wise Pathway

👩‍🏫 Peer Coaches

Support new learners at an earlier point in their journey as a peer coach.
Best for learners familiar with the ToU journey who love helping others succeed.

🧠 Workshop Facilitator

Run sessions for your peers to teach a practical skill or method.
For learners who want to share tools and build facilitation and presentation skills.

🔄 Circle Lead

Facilitate a themed Circle around a shared identity or experience (e.g. female founders, neurodiversity, parents and carers, ToU LATAM)
Perfect for learners wanting to practice leadership, facilitation and peer coaching.

🌱 Communities of Practice (CoP) Lead

Lead a learner-led CoP around a professional topic you are passionate about (e.g. Circularity, Cleantech, AI for Good). Facilitate monthly sessions, plan Co-Labs, and bring ideas into action.
Perfect for learners who want to combine leadership, collaboration, and real-world impact.
