BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management (BARE) Program's Orientation, Calibration, Elevation and Activation Phases

The BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship & Manegement is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to leverage entrepreneurial and managerial knowledge for a sustainable future. The program is structured into four distinct phases: Orientation, Calibration, Elevation, and Activation. Each phase guides learners through different stages of their academic and professional journey, from foundational skills to real-world applications.


Phase 1: Orientation

Purpose: Establishing a strong foundation in Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship and Management

The Orientation Phase introduces learners to Tomorrow University’s learning model, essential academic skills, and the community of peers, faculty, and industry partners. This phase consists of seven challenges, each designed to prepare learners for the journey ahead.

Challenges:

  1. Mission Identification – Define your learning objectives and purpose.
  2. Build Your Dream Team – Develop collaboration and teamwork skills.
  3. Sustainability Foundations – Explore key concepts of sustainability.
  4. Intro to Innovation & Entrepreneurship – Understand how to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  5. Technology Revolutions – Gain an overview of technological advancements.
  6. Intro to Strategy OR Intro to Product Design – Learn how to build strong business strategies or design impactful products, depending on your chosen track
  7. Orientation Group Challenge – Apply acquired skills in a collaborative project.

Phase 2: Calibration 

Purpose: Gaining fundamental knowledge and skills in AI and sustainability

In the Calibration Phase, we recommend learners to complete a Core Curriculum of required Impact Certificates (ICs) and select three elective ICs to tailor their education to their interests and career goals.

Recommended Core ICs (for All Learners starting from March 2025):

  • Build Your Foundations for Growth - Develop skills to foster a continous growth
  • Improve the Global Impact of your Organization - Create a holisitic understanding of your Organizations’ impact

Elective ICs (Pick Three):

  • Think and Act as an Entrepreneur - Unleash your inner founder and turn ideas into action.
  • Become a Responsible Leader - Lead with purpose, integrity, and lasting impact.
  • Prototype Impactful Solutions - Bring bold ideas to life with real-world prototypes.
  • Design for Behavioral Change - Learn how to shape habits, decisions, and actions.
  • Data Mastery for Everyone - Enhance data analytics and visualization skills.
  • AI for Everyone - Understand AI fundamentals and ethical considerations.
  • Mental Health & Wellbeing - Build resilience and thrive in a demanding world.
  • Innovation Strategies for Business Transformations - Reimagine businesses to lead in times of disruption
  • Planet Centric Innovation - Design solutions that put our planet at the core.
  • Leading the Change - Inspire teams and drive real transformation.
  • Foundations for Climate Sciences - Understand the science behind one of humanity’s biggest challenges.

Phase 3: Elevation

Purpose: Applying your entrepreneurial and management skills as well as your sustainability knowledge to real-world challenges

During the Elevation Phase, learners further refine their skills by working on advanced challenges and interdisciplinary projects.

Elevation Challenges:

  1. Starting an Impact Business with a Prototype – Required for learners of the Bachelor in Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management
  2. Elective Challenge of Choice – Select a challenge that aligns with career goals and interests.
  3. Elective Challenge of Choice – A second opportunity to tailor learning through challenge selection.

Phase 4: Activation

Purpose: Bring your Ideas to Life

The Activation Phase is the final stage of the program, where learners synthesize everything they’ve learned into a real-world project or thesis. Whether launching a responsible venture, conducting applied research, or implementing sustainable business practices, this phase ensures meaningful real-world impact.

What to Expect:

  • Define and execute a Bachelor’s thesis or final project under expert supervision.
  • Collaborate with industry partners, mentors, and stakeholders to drive change.
  • Present final work to academic and industry panels.

Your Path to Responsible Entrepreneurship and Management

The BA in Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management equips learners with cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on experience in modern Management (Intrapreneurship) and Entrepreneurial skills. By the end of the program, learners will have:
