What to Expect in the Orientation Phase

After completing your onboarding journey, you’ll transition into your first official learning phase at Tomorrow University: the Orientation Phase.

This phase is designed to give you the foundational knowledge and skills you need to succeed, no matter which program you're in. You’ll explore key topics, connect with your peers, and gain clarity on what’s ahead in your study journey.

In the Orientation Phase, all learners will:

  • Understand Tomorrow University’s challenge-based learning approach

  • Begin shaping your personal mission and long-term goals
  • Build skills in teamwork, innovation, sustainability, and leadership

  • Get to know the faculty and community supporting your growth

  • Take on your first group challenge

  • The ToU Way of Learning - This is a self-paced challenge you can work on alongside your other Orientation challenges. We recommend starting it early to set a strong foundation for your journey. There are no live sessions for this one.

You’ll complete your Orientation Phase inside the Tomorrow University Learning App, one challenge at a time. Each challenge has milestones, lessons, and guidance to keep you on track.

You need to sign up for all challenges before they start! You can find more information on how to do that here.

You’ll also receive calendar invites for all challenge-related live sessions, once you have signed up for them, directly via email, so keep an eye on your inbox!
