Your check-in into live sessions is getting simpler
Why this is changing, and why it's good news
From November 2, 2026, you'll be checked into your live sessions automatically, as soon as you arrive in your Cosmos room. No more forms to fill in before a session starts.
For you as a learner, that means:
- One less step before every live session: you just join, and your attendance is recorded.
- No more hunting for the right live session milestone in your challenge just to check in.
- Your attendance is tied to your Tomorrow University learning platform account, so it's recorded in one place.
Change always takes a little adjustment. That's why this guide is short and built around a single quick test.
What's changing for you
- Until now: to check into a live session, you went to the live session milestone in your challenge on the learning platform, answered a few questions and submitted a form.
- From November 2, 2026: that form is gone. You're checked in automatically when you enter your Cosmos room.
- One important difference: you can no longer enter live session rooms with your existing Cosmos account. Rooms are blocked for direct entry, so you can only get in by logging into Cosmos with your Tomorrow University learning platform account.
How it works: entering your live session
- Click your Cosmos room link for your live session, as you normally would.
- Log in if you're asked to. If you aren't already logged into the Tomorrow University learning platform, you'll be prompted to log in with that account.
- Arrive in your room. After logging in, you're redirected to the Cosmos room for your live session. If you were already logged in, you skip step 2 and go straight to the room.
- That's it. Arriving in the room checks you in. There's nothing else to submit.
Your checklist
Starting from November 2, 2026, do this once before your next live session:
- Make sure you know your login details for the Tomorrow University learning platform.
- Open a Cosmos live session course room link and enter using the new process.
- Confirm you land in the Cosmos room after logging in with your learning platform account. If you do, everything worked and you're ready for your live sessions.
- Stop using your separate Cosmos account to join live sessions. It won't get you into the room any more. Community events will take place in public rooms that aren’t blocked by a Tomorrow University learning app account login. You can enter these rooms freely with any account.

Q: Do I still need to fill in the check-in form in my live session milestone?
No. From November 2, 2026, the form is no longer used. Entering your Cosmos room is your check-in.
Q: Can I still join with my Cosmos account?
No. Live session course rooms are blocked for direct entry. You can only get in by logging in with your Tomorrow University learning platform account.
Q: I'm already logged into the learning platform. Do I need to log in again?
No. If you're already logged in, clicking the room link takes you straight to your Cosmos room.
Q: Does this also apply to community events?
No. Community events take place in public rooms that aren't blocked by a Tomorrow University learning platform login. You can enter these rooms freely with any account.
