🎓 Program Overview

The Joint MSc x Le Wagon in Sustainability, Innovation & Technology (MSc SIT) is designed for future innovators who want to lead sustainable transformation through technology and entrepreneurship.
This joint program combines Tomorrow University’s impact-driven education with Le Wagon’s world-class bootcamps, offering a uniquely hands-on learning journey that blends theory, research, and real-world application.

The program is structured into four key phases — Orientation, Calibration, Elevation, and Activation — each designed to build the mindset, competencies, and expertise needed to drive measurable impact.


🧭 Phase 1: Orientation (35 ECTS)

Purpose: Getting started and setting the foundation

The Orientation Phase ensures you are fully prepared to succeed in the MSc SIT. It introduces you to Tomorrow University’s learning model, academic expectations, and vibrant community of peers, faculty, and industry partners.

Learners complete seven Orientation Challenges, each worth 5 ECTS, combining individual reflection with collaborative application.

  • Mission Identification – Define your purpose and personal learning goals.

  • Build Your Dream Team – Develop teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Sustainability Foundations – Explore the core principles of sustainability.

  • Intro to Entrepreneurship – Understand entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.

  • Technology Revolutions – Examine how emerging technologies transform societies.

  • Introduction to Digital Strategy – Learn the foundations of digital transformation.

  • Orientation Group Challenge – Collaborate on a project integrating your learning.


⚙️ Phase 2: Calibration (15 or 45 ECTS)

Purpose: Customising your learning journey through specialization

The Calibration Phase enables learners to tailor their studies based on their professional goals and desired specialization. Depending on your program version, you will complete either 90 ECTS or 120 ECTS in total:

  • MSc SIT (90 ECTS): Complete 1 Le Wagon Bootcamp (15 ECTS)

  • MSc SIT (120 ECTS): Complete 1 Le Wagon Bootcamp (15 ECTS) + 2 ToU Impact Certificates (30 ECTS)

Each Impact Certificate (IC) includes three challenges and is worth 15 ECTS, allowing you to specialize in areas such as AI, sustainable innovation, or technology management.
Learners pursuing the Joint MSc x Le Wagon complete one Le Wagon Bootcamp, equivalent to one IC, as part of this phase.


🚀 Le Wagon Bootcamp Options (15 ECTS)

Learners in the Joint MSc can choose from one of four bootcamps — each accredited and integrated into the Tomorrow University curriculum.

1️⃣ AI Software 📘 View the syllabus

Build and deploy AI-powered software products using modern development tools.
You’ll learn to:

  • Develop full-stack applications (Python, JavaScript, Flask, SQL, APIs)

  • Apply software engineering workflows (Git, CI/CD, Docker)

  • Integrate AI using OpenAI, LangChain, and vector databases

  • Design end-to-end digital products from concept to prototype

You’ll learn to:

Learners in the 120 ECTS version will complement their bootcamp with two ICs from Tomorrow University, selecting from tracks such as:

  • Complete two Elevation Challenges (10 ECTS each) focused on innovation, AI, or sustainability.

  • Begin shaping your Master’s thesis or applied project for the next phase.


🎓 Phase 4: Activation (20 ECTS)

Purpose: Driving real-world impact through research and innovation

The Activation Phase represents the culmination of the MSc SIT — a space where learners transform insights into action.
You’ll apply research and innovation frameworks to design, test, and deliver projects that create measurable impact.

What to Expect

  • Conduct your Master’s Thesis or Applied Project under expert supervision.

  • Join one of ToU’s dedicated Activation Labs, such as the Innovation & Technology Lab.

  • Collaborate with research institutions and partners like Fraunhofer AHEAD.

  • Participate in milestone-based sessions that guide you from proposal to thesis defense.

  • Present your final work to an academic and industry panel showcasing your innovation journey.
