🌍 Program Overview

The Joint BSc in AI & Sustainable Technologies, developed in partnership with Le Wagon, equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and experience to harness Artificial Intelligence for a more sustainable world.
The program is structured into four distinct phases – Orientation, Calibration, Elevation, and Activation – guiding learners from foundational skills to advanced, real-world applications.


🧭 Phase 1: Orientation ( 30 ECTS )

Purpose: Establishing a strong foundation in AI, sustainability & innovation

The Orientation Phase introduces learners to Tomorrow University’s learning model, essential academic skills, and our global community of peers, faculty, and industry partners.
This phase comprises seven challenges designed to build a solid starting point for your journey.

  • 🤝 Build Your Dream Team – Develop collaboration and teamwork skills.

  • 🌱 Sustainability Foundations – Explore key concepts of sustainability.

  • 💡 Intro to Innovation & Entrepreneurship – Understand how to develop innovative solutions.

  • ⚙️ Technology Revolutions – Gain an overview of technological advancements.

  • 🧩 Intro to Coding for AI – Learn fundamental programming concepts.

  • 🌐 Orientation Group Challenge – Apply acquired skills in a collaborative project.


⚙️ Phase 2: Calibration ( 90 ECTS )

15 ECTS from Le Wagon Bootcamp | 75 ECTS from Tomorrow University ICs

Purpose: Building core competencies in AI and sustainability

During the Calibration Phase, learners combine Tomorrow University’s Impact Certificates (ICs) with a Le Wagon bootcamp experience.
At the start of this phase, learners choose one bootcamp track based on their interests and career goals:

1️⃣ AI Software Bootcamp – Full-Stack AI Development

Master the fundamentals of full-stack development while building AI-powered software solutions from scratch.
You’ll learn to:

  • Design dynamic front-end interfaces (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)

  • Develop robust back-end services (Ruby on Rails, SQL, APIs)

  • Integrate AI tools and frameworks into real-world applications

  • Collaborate in teams to deliver impactful tech products

2️⃣ Data Analytics Bootcamp – Data-Driven Decision Making

You’ll learn to:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data using industry tools like Tableau and Python

  • Create impactful data visualizations and dashboards

  • Translate insights into strategic recommendations

Purpose: Applying AI and sustainability knowledge to real-world challenges

Learners consolidate their skills through advanced challenges and interdisciplinary projects that mirror real-world problems.

  • Data Science Solutions – Required for learners with data-science specialization.

  • Elective Challenge of Choice – Select a challenge aligned with your career goals.

  • Elective Challenge of Choice – Further customize your learning journey.


🎓 Phase 4: Activation ( 30 ECTS )

Purpose: Implementing AI and sustainability solutions in a professional context

The Activation Phase is the culmination of the program. Learners develop a Bachelor’s Thesis that demonstrates their ability to apply AI to create a meaningful impact in the world.

What to Expect

  • Define and execute a Bachelor’s Thesis 

  • Collaborate with industry partners, mentors, and stakeholders

  • Present your work to academic and industry panels
