πŸŽ“ Graduation & Degree Document Guidelines

As you near the end of your studies, it's important to understand how the graduation process works and when you can expect to receive your official degree documents.

This section outlines the key steps and timelines involved in finalizing your degree, including interim transcripts, the Assessment Commission review, and deregistration.

πŸ“… Graduation Timeline

Graduation occurs several times per year. Your official graduation date will align with the next scheduled graduation round after your final grades are approved.

Even if you complete all coursework and your thesis earlier, your official degree documents will be issued on the next graduation date, not immediately after your final submission.

🧾 Assessment Commission Review

Before degrees can be issued, all final grades must be reviewed and approved by the university’s Assessment Commission. This ensures compliance with academic regulations and allows time for any formal grade appeals.

Only after this review process is completed can your graduation be formally processed.

πŸ“„ Final Degree Documents

You will receive the following documents digitally on your official graduation date:

  • πŸŽ“ Degree Certificate

  • 🧾 Transcript of Records (including overall grade)

  • πŸ“˜ Diploma Supplement

These documents will be issued only if all tuition and administrative fees have been paid in full. Please make sure your financial obligations are settled to avoid delays.

πŸ“‘ Interim Transcript of Completion

If you need confirmation of your graduation before the official documents are issued, for example, to apply for further studies or jobs, you can request a final interim transcript. This document confirms that you have successfully completed all program components and is accepted by most institutions and employers as formal evidence of completion until official graduation documents are released.

To request your interim transcript, please contact enrollment@tomorrow.university after you have received your final grades.

πŸ“ Deregistration (Exmatrikulation)

You will be formally deregistered from your program shortly after your official graduation date.
If you need an official deregistration confirmation (Exmatrikulationsbescheinigung), you can submit a request to enrollment@tomorrow.university.
