What is the difference between full-time and part-time studies?

As a general rule in Germany, being enrolled in a full-time program means that the weekly workload is more than 20 hours, while studies with a workload of less than 20 hours per week are considered part-time studies.

Study programs at Tomorrow University are designed to be as flexible as possible, so that people can study around their other commitments, may this be a job, care-taking responsibilities or another commitment.

Learners can study at their own pace and can adapt it in the way that suits them. Full-time or part-time student status has implications for social security and health insurance payments. This differs from country to country so we can't provide you with definite information on this, but your health insurance provider and/or social security agency will be able to help.
