Community Champion Guidelines
Guidance for learners and alumni who are participating the Community Champion program in 2026
What is the Community Champions program?
This program is a way for current learners and alumni share their Tomorrow University experience with prospective students.
The prospective students will see your profile in their version of the learning platform and can schedule calls with you using a scheduling link that you provide.

During the call prospective students have scheduled with you, you will get to share your real experience at Tomorrow University freely and honestly.
There is so set agenda for these conversations; feel free to discuss any topic that comes up naturally. We encourage you to share both what you enjoy about your learning and community experience, as well as the limitations you see and any critical feedback you may have.
How prospective learners schedule calls with you
Add a scheduling link from a tool of your choosing to your profile (under "Find me elsewhere," tagged "Calendly") and open up to three, 15-minute slots per week. Prospective students will be able to book a 15-minute chat with you directly.
You are in control of your availability. If a week gets busy — exams, work, travel — just remove your open slots. There's no form to fill out and nobody to notify.
What to talk about during calls
Share your Tomorrow University story. Why you chose to join, what surprised you, what's been hard, how the learning format works day to day.
Here are a few guidelines worth keeping in mind:
- You're not admissions staff, so you don't need to (and shouldn't) make promises about acceptance, funding, or timelines. If someone asks something official about their acceptance or enrollment, it's fine to say "that's one for the admissions team" and point them to their admissions manager.
- Focus on your own experience. Keep other people's personal details out of the conversation.
- There's no obligation to follow up after a call or report back on how it went, unless you want to or need support. In particular, if you had a negative experience with a potential learner, please communicate your concerns to Irene on Slack directly.
A little thank-you
By taking part as a Community Champion between September - December 2026, you get a €50 voucher for Tomorrow University merch. You'll also get a "Community Champion" badge on your profile once you're set up.

I’d like to become a Community Champion. How do I join?
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Community Champion. All Community Champions places for 2026 have been taken. From the beginning of 2027 onwards, we will be opening up more places for the role and will share details on how to participate in this handbook article in December 2026.
FAQs
👉 Do I need to prepare anything before a call?
No. Show up, be yourself, talk about your own experience. If it helps, jot down two or three moments from your own time at Tomorrow University you'd enjoy talking about, but that's optional.
👉 What if nobody books a slot?
Totally normal, and nothing you need to do about it. Some weeks you'll get calls, some weeks you won't.
👉 Can I pause or stop at any time?
Yes, anytime, for any reason. Just remove your available slots or delete the Calendly link entirely. Please inform Irene via Slack when you do so, so that you can be removed from the page where potential learners can schedule calls with you.
👉 Am I supposed to convince people to enroll?
No. The value of these calls is that they're honest, not persuasive. If Tomorrow University isn't the right fit for someone, saying so honestly is more useful to them than talking them into it.
👉 What if someone asks me something I don't know, or something official (tuition, financial aid, visa questions, curriculum specifics)?
Feel free to say you're not sure and point them to the admissions team.
👉 What if a call feels off? What if I feel like someone is rude, inappropriate, or just a bad fit?
You can end the call politely at any time, and you're welcome to flag it to Irene via Slack afterward. You're never obligated to keep talking with someone who makes you uncomfortable.
👉 How exactly does the €50 voucher work?
You will receive the voucher around mid-end December 2026 for participating in the program during these months. The plan will likely change from beginning 2027 onwards. We’ll share details about this in December 2026.
👉 Is this basically a volunteer sales job?
No. There's no quota, no script, and no expectation to sell anything. It's closer to "answer honestly if someone asks what it's like," on a schedule you fully control.
👉 Do I need to report back after each call?
Not at all! If something notable comes up (a great conversation, a concern, feedback for the team), you're welcome to share it with Irene, but it's never required.
👉 What does the Community Champion badge actually look like?
The Community Champion badge shows up on your profile once you've added your scheduling link and it's confirmed.
