Can I transfer study credits (ECTS) from my previous studies? How does the process work?

Yes. The amount of study credits that can be recognized depends on each individual case, but the absolute maximum of credits that can be recognized is the equivalent of half of the overall ECTS of the ToU program that you are applying to or are already enrolled in.

Keep in mind that a credit transfer is only possible for studies that you haven’t completed yet. We cannot recognize credits from a completed degree program because it’s not possible to count credits twice towards different degrees.

How many study credits can I transfer to Tomorrow University?

That depends on the program you want to study at Tomorrow University and the subjects that you have studied previously.

If you’re planning to enroll in one of our Bachelor’s programs, a maximum amount of 90 ECTS can be transferred from previous studies. If you’re planning to enroll in a Master's program, up to 30, 45 or 60 ECTS can be transferred, depending on your chosen program version.

However, the exact amount of credits that can be transferred depends on the content of your previous studies and how well they relate to your chosen study program at Tomorrow University.

By how much does my tuition fee decrease with every credit I transfer to Tomorrow University?

One transferred ECTS credit reduces your overall tuition fee amount by €30.
